best turf for south west london new lawn?

I am about to embark on relaying new turf in our sw london garden. it is mainly clay based; clumping when i start to rotarvate with fork. My intention is to fork the whole space, rake, remove stones etc, lay horticultural sand, then lay new turf. is the right approach and any advice on which turf i should use? many thanks
