Conifer for narrow space and upright form

BenDoverBenDover Posts: 488

Hi.

I'm looking for a conifer or a yew that is required to fill a narrow space around 3 foot diameter max and will grow upright to around 15-20 foot tall.  I've found plenty that grow to around 10 foot but that's too small.  It is to grow in a space that is part shade, and soil is on the dry side, as its in the corner of the garden with fence line on two sides.  Any suggestions?

I'd go with the Italian cypress, they look gorgeous in the right setting a perfect fit for your gap.

I'd second a cypress.  Beautiful and compact.
