Can anyone recon med a suitable treatment for the dreaded enemyimage.I have a 5 month old retriever puppy who eats everything in sight. Wool pellets and re-circled coffee granules are on his list -of extra treats.

Perhaps i should ask Monty what he used when Nigel as a Pup.

Walk him on the garden on a lead until he learns what "leave" is.

I use beer in slug pubs, but you would have to make sure he cant  drink it. An alternative is crushed eggshells around tender plants , and  copper tape around plant pots.

hi jad1 slugs & snails can carry lung worm which can be fatal for dogs, image so make sure you take his toys in from the garden so they can't slime their way over them and then he picks them up in his mouth and so avoid the contact with them, if you have a smallish garden go out at night armed with a slug glove (or trowel if you can't pick them up, torch and bucket and then empty them in green bin or put soapy water in bucket and chuck them in that, i do that every night and am getting between 20 & 60 if it's misty or has been raining you will find even more, I'm getting lots of baby ones at the mo before they get a chance to get massive and start breeding etc, you can try upside down half grapefruits hollowed out then collect them in morning if you don't fancy going out at night, good luck
