Daffodils
I planted a lot of different daffodils last autumn. Some of these had, to my shame, been sitting in boxes in the shed for possibly over a year.
Most of them have flowered but some of the smaller plain yellow daffs have developed very odd flowers with mutiple petals which look more like scruffy Dandelions than Daffs.
They don't look diseased. No discolouration etc on the leaves but just distorted flowers. Could this be a virus or just down to cultivation problems? Any one any ideas please?

Unless of course they are double Narcissus like Rip Van Winkle
I'd google Rip Van Winkle, as suggested by Berghill, lamweedy...
Ah! Ha! They could well be. Mine are nearly gone over and now very tatty. The stems did not seem strong enough to support the flower heads. Thank you!. There's nothing like being able to get answers so easily on the internet. Thank you.
