Cauli looks like cress...
in Fruit & veg
Hi
Cauli seeds have sprouted...like individual cress in just a few days...is this right?...can't imagine it may eventually be a cauli.
I know they are probably a bit of a specialist veg for a beginner but thought it would be a bit of fun...

Guess - in a propagator - too warm.
no propagator...in a bedroom...should I put them in a N facing conservatory?...thought it would be too cold.
I have some teeny-weeny plug plants (perennials) can I put them in there too? they are growing quickly too...
cress is a brassica, so cauliflower, cabbage, sprout, calabrase and broccoli all look like cress at the start!
WOW...ok...I do have books and do read them but AT didn't show pick or comment on how things look!
Thanks
I planted my seeds out about a month ago. Was that a bad idea, I notice you have planted yours inside.
None of my have come up yet.
it sounds a bit early for planting brassica seeds outdoors, if they're not showing now, they probably wont now,
I'd sow them again inside in module trays and grow on until you've got four or more true leaves, then harden off for a couple of days before planting
Cauli now in the conservatory...still like cress with 2 leaves, so watching and waiting for 4 leaves then will follow treehugger80 instructions above.
thanks all..
