2 belfast sinks to use
hi
we moved house 6 months ago and the garden is nice but we are trying to put our stamp on it.
one thing we definitely want is more wildlife., I got 2 Belfast sinks off ebay, one is deeper than the other so I planned to use that as a pond.
I like the idea of alpines in the other but it occurs to me that alpines can be grown in all sort of pots, would it make more sense to make 2 ponds with the sinks, maybe in different parts of the garden?

Could you somehow make it so one 'pond' flows into the other? A little water feature/pond using a small pump. Runny water is always far more healthy than stagnate water.. and the introduction of more oxygen will be beneficial to your underwater friends.
