Hi, i believe i have small leaf cutter bees making small mud holes in my garden. Is this going to be a problem and how do i get rid of them?

  • Wont be a problem at all. The bees are harmless and they only dig into loose soil so take it a a comlement of your garden.

I think they are leaf cutter bees but I only noticed them tonight whilst cutting my lawn, I will try and take a photo,

Many thanks Jimmy, am I correct in saying only 1 bee us in one hole or will it be quite a few?
  • Some types of leafcutters will put one egg in a hole and seal the hole although most of them will put several eggs in and then close the hole up.
