Rhododendron black spots?

Sam 92Sam 92 Posts: 68
Hi everyone, today I noticed black spots on the leaves of my dwarf rhododendron just wondering should I be concerned other than that the plant seems fine, should I be worried what are any cures? Or should I just leave it be and see what happens, it's amongst several other shrubs so I'm worried about it spreading what's my best option? Really like it don't want to have to chuck it. Thanks Sam

So they aren't causing any bother? Just leave them be? Aye we have heavy clay soil so it keeps in moisture and hasn't been hot recently so the soil has been wet for a few days now, are they like blackspot that roses get? So I shouldn't worry to much? Thanks Sam
  • If you are worried you could always remove the leaves with black spots and burn them I agree with everybody else though. Don't worry.
