I have found my Orion comes through quicker in spring, than Roxanne or johnsons blue. They'll be there aleish, just a bit slow. Pictures of my garden from last April to this, seem to show a slower start to spring growth for lots of my perennials....for us at least.
Thanks everyone, i have ordered brookside and magnificum for myself and sweet Heidy for my daughter as she is in the process of buying a new home with a garden and her lovely dog is called Heidi. I didn't realise there were so many varieties i have choosen ones that flower the longest and attract insects,

Brookside is lovely too - its a sport of gravetye - another of my favourites
I've just planted Brookside, glad to hear it's a good choice.
