Lords and ladies
I have huge clumps of Lords and ladies in the garden which areiin the process of spreading round it. I know they're a bugger to dig up, anyone have any hints or tips to ease my path?

Oh dear I have same problem got loads of clumps to get rid off , I've got 1.acre of land for my ponies , I've never seen so many weeds in my life , doing all mine by hand ,
When can I put the weed killer on them ? Would it work if I dug deep could I put weed killer on the roots ? In the ground n cover bk up with soil ? Would it work ? Pls
I've been battling with L&L for more than 5 years now. Even today there are hundreds of their little leaves poking above ground.
The leaves are quite waxy and I've found that roundup etc has little effect as it just runs off the leaves.
I can turn over a bit of soil almost anywhere in my garden and find the little bu**ers.
Even tiny bulblets will send up leaves from 12"+ below the soil surface.
I just keep on hoeing - but more still keep coming

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Add a little Washing up liquid to the Weed killer. It makes it stick to the leaves so it is then absorbed.
