using a bath as a pond at my allotment
in Talkback
I have taken on a new allotment and there is a sunken bath full of grimy water.
I would really like to use it as a pond and it is full of frogspawn at the moment.Do i need to get any plants for it to attract wild life.Any suggestions on plants/maintenance/oxygenation etc would be really appreciated.

Make sure there is some way for froglets to exit the bath and somewhere for them to bask out of the water. If you have a large pot of pond plants that just breaks the water surface that would be great for them to rest on. http://www.froglife.org/info-advice/creating-or-improving-ponds/
