English lavender on label

quick visit to bandq this morning. They have English lavender in pots. I'm thinking of planting along my lawn for a nice border for bees. I was thinking Munsted would be good as I don't want it too high.
but what kind of lavender is English lavender, from what I read online it could be any number of varieties. The label did say about 40-50 cm in height.

That's the site I looked over. Poor labelling really from BandQ.
Large chains and supermarkets are often not allowed to put the proper cultivar name onto their pots. I expect the reason is other retailers complaining to the growers "how come supermarkets are selling "cultivar X" at less than we are paying you for them?!"
that is really a pity, I buy a fair few plants from that store, never have huge issues and they can sometimes have stuff at more competitive prices than any garden centre. But labelling pots as English lavender surely isn't enough detail. Maybe I've missed the latin naming somewhere. I'll look again next day.
