Last frost
in Plants
I have lots of plants growing on my windowsill and they're all getting pretty big now, when would it be safe for me to plant them in the garden? And when should I start hardening them off?
Thanks,
Kasha

You can find the last frost dates here http://www.gardenfocused.co.uk/adjust-dates-uk.php
Isn't it just? Takes all the guesswork out. You should probably begin hardening the plants off during the day a week or so before the last frost date, then you can get them planted out?
Excellent site. Thank you Jimmy
Isn't it just Pansy. I don't grow fruit and veg but if I did I would certainly use it. It's not just the large towns either. Good resource Jimmy. I wonder if there are any other gems out there that we don't know about.
My goodness, something really useful. Slight problem in my case as the nearest town is south east of the village I live in and we're right on the boundary of a 2 week change in the frosts date.
. I'm always cautious anyway so I'll carry on keeping outdoor toms and basket plants covered at night. Fortunately with a very small garden it isn't too much of a problem and the map is confirming I'm on the right track anyway which is comforting. Local weather hasn't given a frost at all this week but we had one yesterday but I look at the sky/ feel the air temps last thing when I walk the dog and moved everything tender under the shelter of the walkway to the first floor flats and all was well
