Tomato leaf problems??
I have 5 Tomato seedlings of the gardeners delight variety and the first true leaves are dying. They are a brown-ish yellow color and dead.
I have them in 8cm square pots and they are bottom watered. This is happening on 4 out of the 5 although Im assuming this will happen to the fifth aswell.
Is this normal, would it cause problems? Could I take it off when I repot and plant it deeper or would taking it off cause more problems? This is my first year of growing tomatoes so would appreciate the advice, many thanks

Doesnt look too bad, I would say to pot it on now burying past that leaf
Thank You,
I took the problem leaf off and potted in a bigger pot now. I gave it a little feed and bottom watered.
Hopefully that'll be that before it goes in the greenhouse
as its currently under grow lights ( 2 2700K and 1 6500K bulb).
Nothing beats some good natural light
I agree although I wanted light closer so they wouldn't end up so leggy and I don't have a south facing window so on windowsills they have half day really bright and half really dull
.
I've noticed one of the leaves on the re-potted one is starting to go really dark and curl a little bit at the edge, is this normal? Would you recommend getting it on a windowsill anyway instead of the lights?
Thanks Again.
