Pet safe?
has anyone found and used a pet safe moss removal product? If so any advice would be welcome.

a rake (spring-tine) or, if you have a cartridge system on your mower like mine, a lovely cartridge that get's rid of the moss and sticks it into the front collector. Afterwards simply sow seed then a barrow full of 2/3 sharp sand to top-soil mix on top will suffice.. If no motorised action, read spring-tine rake, (and be careful, it's hard hard work, heartattack material) Do a little each day til it's done, then as above!!!
Thanks Pansyface, a rake is not an option to an invalid!!
ok pansyface your lack of intelligence has been noted.
Many thanks BrummiebenBen for taking the time to offer your advice. My capabilities are restricted in the use of implements in this field hence the request for information regarding pet safe moss killer which I had hoped might eliminate the hard graft involved in raking out later, maybe I was being over optimistic. But many thanks for your offered advice. Happy gardening.
even if you kill the moss it'll still need raking out otherwise it'll regrow really quickly
I think most of the proprietary mosskillers have a period when you need to keep pets off. I use Evergreen 4 in 1 and for that you need to keep pets off until it rains. Evergreen Mosskill Solution says keep pets off until it dries which might be easier. I think that was the one I used when I had pets and I treated the lawn on a sunny day and shut my dogs and cats in until it had dried. Whatever you use the dead moss will need raking off though as other people have said. I have an electric lawn raker which is no more effort to use than a lawn mower so that might be an option.
Strong young men are very useful in the garden, I grew one.
It's best for EVERYONE to keep off the lawn until any treatments have dried - if you get them on the soles of your shoes you can discolour your patio, paths, carpets etc - footprints all over the place!!!
