Sowing Parsnips

Hi all, Was just wondering if anyone in the West Midlands has sown their parsnips yet?

i usually do it at the end of April and get great results.

    I'm in the east midlands and sowed mine a few days ago.  They take a long time to germinate and have a long growing season, so now is about right in my experience.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
