rockery plants

Hi there,

I have rediscovered a rockery that has been long hidden with weeds. I have cleared all the rubbish and would like some advice on what plants would be good to grow, it is in part shade and there is an apple tree in the centre and a small pond to the side.

    Oh, thankyou. I'll take a picture tomorrow, it is a blank canvas as I have completely cleared it - there was bamboo taking over and lots of roots ....

    I am a complete novice and any help / advice will be very helpful to me ( and for the rest of the garden!!!).

    Morrisons have a selection of plants at the moment which are listed as being good in a rockery. They are 66p per pot as their plant of the week. Will be changed on monday 13th April - so pop down quick if you need some.
