I live on the west coast and escalonia are touch shrubs. I would just cut off the brown leaves with secateurs - they don't need TLC and maybe a light feed of general purpose next month.
Hello, i hope someine can help, i planted 20 escallonias a few days ago, they are about 20cm tall from cuttings. I used compost and bone meal and watered them in well but the leaves have started to turn yellow, what am i doing wrong and can i save them??? I chose escallonia as i thought they'd be fairly hardy and would survive my novice hands.

Totally endorse Tetley's comments - it needs light, air and wind around its branches!
It is in a quite a large pot though, and less than 20cm in length now. I don't have a garden at the moment, thus it will need to wait for a while
So it started to develop some yellow leaves. Can this be fungi
