Sweet peas

JaneD8JaneD8 Posts: 13

Hello, I know sweet peas are meant to be really easy to grow but I am having difficulty actually finding out how far apart to plant the seeds now. I have a trough planter 120cm wide, how many can I plant width-ways? Many thanks for suggestions.

Hi Edd, yes I do mean long, and I do have a bamboo trellis in position, thank you very much for this, I will plant them tomorrow.

No, outside but quite protected and gets lots of sun.

I sowed 70 sweet peas at the end of Jan ( T&M seeds) A grand total of 11 have germinated. 2 packets at £2.69 each.

Bought some from Wilko at 60p a packet and sowed them 3 weeks ago and have 12 already.

    Devon.

Thanks Edd - I have some plastic cloches I could use. Thank you Hostafan1 - I am a great fan of Wilcos too, just got the T&M seeds in my local garden centre, hope I have better results than you!
