garden help

I am at a lost to know what to do with a  small patch of garden at the front of my house and driveway. It is a very awkward shape and already has an established cherry tree, box edging (which I planted), 3 roses and a pink flowering current which was rescued from neglect , but it still lacks plants and because it can be viewed from both sides, it makes it difficult to know what else i can plant there.

The space around the roses looks bare and Ideally I would like to stop cats and weeds for good - any plant ideas? the roses are red, white and peach

I would also like to plant some 1 meter max shrubs to fill in the spaces - any ideas for hardy shrubs which flower?
