Is my plant dead?

Hi all, I am fairly new to gardening and new to this forum. I'm hoping someone can help me. I planted a Tricyrtis Taipei Silk last year and although it did well it doesn't look like it's survived the winter. I forgot to protect it during the cold month and I'm hoping all is not lost, although it doesn't look like it's coming back to life. It's showing no sign of green growth at all, just brown dry sticks at the moment. I would thought by now there might be some greenery showing? Does anyone know if this has died during t winter months or whether there is still hope?

It shouldn't need protection. Lots of plants haven't woken up yet and it is a fairly later flowerer. Too soon to worry

Mine are not showing any signs of growth yet, but they soon will.
Thanks both, I'm just too eager
Will wait patiently.
