Your getting me all excited for the dragonfly season DorsetUK

    First three

    Large Red Damselfly (male)

    Azure Damselfly (male)

    Common Darter (male)

Last one I would put my money on a female Southern Hawker, though there are a couple of species that are very similar.

Beautiful photos DorsetUK. They are such magical creatures. Ive just found a frog in my pond. Seems the amphibians are back image Also got hundreds of daphnea in. Are they a good sign of a healthy pond? I have lots including an assortment of tiny other critters. Even if I'm not lucky to attract a dragonfly, then at least there's plenty of other sights to keep me entertained image

Well done finding the stick JodeJay image Daphnia love nice clean water, I take them as a good sign in a pond. I spend hours just staring into my pond. My neighbours must wonder what fascinates me so much, but to me it's like a whole different world. image
