Its nice to see others are as mad on plants and seeds as I am Hollie lol
I was out in the garden today. Lifted more grass, widened my beds, cleared the area that my Belfast pond will go, marked out more turf to take and will make a second arch. I have decided to split the garden in 3 sections and focus on one at a time rather than all at once. I think 30x20 foot sections are more than enough for over haul
Thanks hollie hock I got my false sunflower and have been outside today planting it in a compost bag- until I know where to plant properly. Looks great.
What time does the false sunflower flower?
T&M seeds came today as well so nice goodies arriving through the post. I want to have a go at a bit more seed sowing but might not yet - the seeds may get too leggy.
Sam that sounds a good way of going about your garden I think - do it in bits, I manage to do that sometimes then I get put off by something else and do a bit of gardening there as well. Things do distract me.
In bits is good. It's easy to make a large bit look clear but all those perennial weeds are still there and plenty of annuals ready to germinate. Then you're at it all summer.
Yep, that's what I thought. There's a bike shed and a workshop below that and still loads below that as well. My last garden was very small but did always want something bigger. Didn't quite expect this big though lol
Would they have been allotments at one time for to be this shape Hollie do you know? I now live in an old mining community and all the houses have the same. Upper flats as well as lower ones.
The more swappers the better I would have thought liliana. welcome. I shall have some more stuff after I've done my spring sow, and of course later on in the season.
