Identification Help Please

I gave my daughter a planter for Christmas and she now wants to plant everything out into her garden. I can identify most things but am not sure what the variegated plant on the left is. Can anyone help me out?

cut off the shoot which is all green, otherwise it will take over from the variegated shoots.

    Devon.
  • Thanks Mattbeer, any idea what variety or how big it will get?

Hostafan, really glad you said that. I'd thought it but forgot to tell her!

Looks like Euonymus Emerald n Gold. It's a toughie. It can add some brightness to a dull corner.

  • Thanks Judith and Tetley. Had a quick google of these but am not sure which it is. Anyway she has put in a sheltered corner against a north facing wall so is using it exactly as you suggested.

I have that in my garden and its four foot tall. I give it a severe chop and it bounces back.
