How easy/hard
How easy is it to add willow fedging or bamboo screens to a fence? Fed up of neighbours hanging over my fencing staring in my kitchen, throwing balls over, my fence is low at each side then gets high in middle, its all gravel, so not sure what the soil is like, i really really need quick something that will give me privacy? Saw willow fedging but it was on sale until Feb, not sure on bamboo/willow screesn, how to do attach them, will it be ok in a wind?

how high is your fence and how high will the willow screen be?
My fence starts of at 4ft then goes to 5ft in middle then slopes back down to 4ft, this is the thing i know nothing of screens, on your tube they seem to put in big posts, screw them into that, i thought the screens you get at b&m ect you just attach to the fence? Am clueless
A willow fedge is a living thing which has to be regularly trimmed and managed or you will end up with a row of very large trees, so I don't think that is what you want.
Is this the sort of thing you were looking at http://www.primrose.co.uk/-p-2144.html?adtype=pla_with_promotion&kwd=&showPLA=true&gclid=CN73qoz238QCFRQatAod3j8AJA
Something like that could be fixed by a competent handyman - but do get someone who is recommended by people you know - there are some useless people out there who take your money and do shoddy work.

Dovefromabove, thats perfect, i dont know any handy men will look on my local facebook see if anyone recommends someone. Will i need these Galvanised Ratchet Strainers / Wire Tensioners - Pack Of 2 says recommended,?
Thank you, just what i need, not too pricey either, as i was wanting bamboo, but B&Q were selling them for £42 per pot, i would need about 13 pots

I would select your handyman, show him what you want to achieve and ask him how he suggests it can be fixed to make sure it's sturdy, then get him to give you a list of the materials he'll require then you can order what's needed.
If he doesn't sound competent and isn't willing to give a bit of time to planning the work then he's not the chap for the job.
