Plastic Shed Base

I am considering a plastic shed base and wondered if anyone has used them. Do you still have to prepare the site that it goes on? do they last? thanks

    Hi Meomye

I used them for the base of my 6x4 potting shed.

They are great, light to use instead of heavy slabs.

You still need to level the surface they are going to be put on ,then you can fill them with gravel, though I dont think this is essential (I did do this though.

I would place it on top of concrete paving slabs to give a firm and level foundation. You will need it level to get all the sides in place correctly.

Thankyou all for your replies. Sounds easy enough image  I will investigate further. I already have a base laid with slabs and gravel where I am replacing an old  greenhouse do you think this would be ok to lay onto? Any suggestions where to purchase plastic grid system would also be useful . Thanks

Concrete slabs are not needed with this system, though a sand base helps you to get it level

if the current slab base is level and firm just use that
