Peas

Should I pinch out my pea seedlings in the same way as my sweet peas? If so, at what stage? Thanks

I know that a lot of people don't, but I do.  I know that farmers used to 'roll' the fields of peas when they're around 5" tall to make the plants 'break' and grow more side-shoots, so I reckon that pinching out does the same thing.   Mind you, I don't grow the taller varieties - I only grow the short bushy ones that don't need support, more like the ones that farmers grow in the fields.

    What do others do?
