Hi. Your foxglove might not as they are biannua (or some are!)l. For some reason I can't read your whole list (as it goes off my page) but from what I can read and know... delph's, hollyhocks, lupins fuschia's and gladioli should flower this year. Not sure about iris bulbs as I planted mine last Oct and they have already flowered and wilted. I hope this helps.

I have had catmint in flower late in the first season from seed but I think you're looking at next year really. So look after them. I'd grow them on in pots before you plant them out or they'll be struggling. The shrubs flowering will depend on how big they are now. The bulbs should flower this year if they're bulbs you've just bought for summer flowers.

I thought they wouldn't flower this year will get summer bulbs and bedding to add colour, should I be cutting them back to the ground to incourage new growth? Or just leave them as they are? If I get a load of summer bulbs can I just pop them straight out in the garden now and they should come up this year? Thanks Sam

So take them all out and put in 9cm pots growing outside? Or in conservatory? As they all in garden already or should I just leave them? Gonna head upto b&q pick up some established perennials for a bit of colour this year and hopefully wee ones will pop up next year regards to summer bulbs I've seen a pack of about 100 on amazon if I get that can I just plant the bulbs straight out in the garden and they will come up by June\July? As quite warm here now heating up? Thanks I'm still learning the trade. Thanks for all advice. Sam

A lot depends on your soil and how much care you can give them. I wouldn't put a plug into my soil and expect success.

Don't let them get swamped by larger plants and  don't let them dry out and they stand a chance.

The other things is, were they ever hardened off or did they go straight from T&M's greenhouse to outside?
