Weed (?) identification - when they are seedlings
I have to get a lot better at identifying weeds when they are small. Far too often they look like something interesting, then turn into a weed, then run riot. The first pic, i think is a weed, but looks like a self seeded poppy i often get, so not sure. What is it?
Second pic (the purply one, not the grass or hairy bittercress!) this is a weed but looks just like one of the daisies i have when it starts off. Name of this one?

Photo upload not working...
Have you tried clicking on the green tree icon on the toolbar above where you type your post - if you get an error message try clicking on the OK button and waiting a bit ... good luck

Oh i see. 'ok' the error msg. Errr nope, still doesnt work. I can see it does for other people there is a thread in site feedback.
Then you'd best contact the web team at this address [email protected] .
Of course, as it's the holidays there may not be many people in the office for a few days. Looking forward to seeing your pics eventually - perhaps it'll be even easier to ID them by then

Strangely OK today. Still get the error msg though.
Hmmm right, i have taken a pic of the perrenial the purple weed looks like, but actually if you get hold of one and tug, they are quite different, so thats a bit clearer.
I think the top ones are poppies, and the bottom ones are willowherb - get rid of those ones!
Willowherbs often come up with a bit of pink rhizome attached.
2nd Ooo. Not sure, theres not much willowherb in the area. Ill look for pink rhizome.
1st Thats what i thought poppies, but im not sure.
