Zauschneria
in Plants
Hi everyone. Bit of advice needed.
I stupidly planted this Zauschneria 'Western Hills' in a really bad spot. It actually flowered nicely last year but winter has taken its toll and I have bitten the bullet and decided to move it (hopefully saving as much as I can).
There are some pretty strong new shoots coming up. Would it be possible to use one of those as a cutting and start a new plant that I can grow on?
Thanks in advance.

No reason why not, perfectly good idea.
Not a plant I know, but having Googled, it might be just the thing for the very dry end of our garden - one for the Possibles list. Thanks
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dovefromabove - while it lasted in my garden it was beautiful. Lovely silvery green foliage and it flowered right through until winter. I think the key is good drainage and lot of sun. I read somewhere than it can even grow on almost pure grit.
