Hi can anyone tell me what the grubs/caterpillars are? There are about 100 in the soil of my tulip and begonia container pot?

They look like leatherjackets (cranefly larvae) to me:

Thanks Bob. So far just one scrawny tulip has come up - the rest must have been eaten. Just the skins of the tulip bulbs remain.
