Help little flies everywhere

as soon as I put young plants in the greenhouse within a day swarms with small white flies pounce on my plants and suck the life out of them. how can I prevent this and where do they come from. I have no idea if it really flies. They are very similarlooking like flies

    Sounds like whitefly Ellen. I'm seeing loads around the compost heap this year, think it will be a bad year for them.

    Seems to recommend biological control with parasitic wasps, anyone tried that with success??

    I agree - yellow sticky traps are a great way of catching them.

  • Thanks, that sounds good. I don't want to use any pesticide this may work i'm gonna try the sticky traps and sporay with garlic.
