Hi

Can someone tell me the best way to divide an Arundo Donax / Spanish Cane please ?

It's been in a pot for years and just had old shoots around the edge.

    I'd do it now before it starts growing. Prepare for a battle. An old saw might come in useful . 

    I'd lift it from the pot and put it on a slab, or hard surface and try cutting through witha  spade at first, but i think you might need to literally saw through it.

    I like to grow Petunia and each year buy new plants or try to grow from purchased seeds. Can anyone tell me how to collect seeds from my plants?

    Arundo donax (Spanish reed) in a pot?? They get huge! Must be in a big pot!
