Mouldy compost

I sowed some flower seeds last weekend, and covered them with a plastic cover to help them get started. I had a quick look at them this morning and the compost looks mouldy. What I have done wrong please?

maybe it was too damp. Leave to cover off to allow it to dry a bit.
I use a copper sulphate solution at the first sign of damping off. Does the trick. You only need a little bit. I bough a box of sachets about 10 years ago and I've still loads left.
Thank you both.
bad air circulation, give it turn . should be ok
