Ive turned the soil over in the hope that the gardens birds and beetles will have at them. Will I be ok to plant on the same spot in a month or so? Dont think they were Vine Weevils as they are usually adults by this point?

All of them are brown and dead under the bark. Lots of these little beggars under the roots
How sad, being a Fuchsia grower I know how you feel mate, dont let it get you down.
