    Mine are well out in the greenhouse and just showing in the garden, dear dad is going to cut then right back for me when the weather warms up, he says!

    If you spray them with water it will help the buds a bit thats if the dreaded VW havent had the soft fibrey roots.

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor. 

  • All of them are brown and dead under the bark. Lots of these little beggars under the roots

    How sad, being a Fuchsia grower I know how you feel mate, dont let it get you down.

  • Ive turned the soil over in the hope that the gardens birds and beetles will have at them. Will I be ok to plant on the same spot in a month or so? Dont think they were Vine Weevils as they are usually adults by this point?

  • Ah well, I'll leave it a bit. Nothing near ready acting put yet.
