Ideas for Sept wedding flowers

Hi all, my friend is getting married early Sept and has decided to grow her own table decorations, but we are looking for ideas please. She is using small terracotta pots on her tables, and wants to grow her own displays. Any recommedations for what would work best for early Sept to be in flower? Bright colours and any varieties at the moment... No idea where to start! Looking forward to your input GW forumers. Thanks.

Dahlias should be flowering all through September.
Plenty of tubers still in the garden centres , supermarkets and wilkos.
