Arum Lily shoot eater
Hi there, I am gardening in the French Pyreens and i have notice that something is eating my Arum lily shoots. I have always thought it was slugs in the past but have transplanted to a new garden and i have discovered close by what looks like a red tick with red eggs. Could this be doing the damage and what can i do? I have now protected the shoots with a collar of plastic (the top of a 5 lt plastic water bottle) and slug pellets and i have looked up red lily beatle and it is not the same. creature. It is not a moth / caterpillar as they go for the leaves and only on shoots at this stage of year. Anyone any ideas please? Thanks
