    I love Casualty.

A good joke on Facebook  today. Man said "my wife texted me to say she was in Casualty, I have watched all 50 minutes of it and didn't see her once and  she is still not home and I am starving ". Well it made me laugh anywayimage

We're just re-watching all of the West Wing and I think it is even better second time through....absolute class!!

Also got hooked on Breaking Bad.

I suffered severe withdrawal symptoms after finishing The Wire, I felt like I'd lost a limb. A friend prescribed the Sopranos boxset which did the trick, but I then developed Soprano withdrawal symptoms. This was cured by watching Breaking Bad, but when Id finished that I didn't feel the need to live anymore.

Good box sets should come with a government health warning!
  • better call saul is brilliant if you liked breaking bad!

my sister's lent me "love for Lydia" now that is old,i remember the theme tune, but little else.its very dated, but has a young peter Davidson and Jeremy irons.

I used to love the mallens, sometimes tho, altho the acting is wonderful, you can tell they didn't have much money, the sets wobble a bit!

not like now.game of thrones has a couple of million per episode.my friends lent me the whole lot, cant say im into it, lord of the rings on heat.not for me!

The Wire was fabulous, although I did have to have subtitles on as I couldn't understand what they were saying. Certainly one I wished I could watch through fresh eyes.

I also wished I hadn't seen Morse before and Frost.

I also like Blue Bloods and the Mentalist.

Started Breaking Bad but got distrated, I think it was summer and I spent most of my time in the Conservatory so didn't watch TV.  Might dig it out again.

I also like Luther, the one with the person under the bed was probably one of the scariest things I have seen on TV.

I have the first 3 seasons of Game of Thrones on DVD as we don't get Sky Atlantic image Haven't watched them yet as he feels we don't have the time to devote to watching it! We do have a tendency to get sucked in image

  • its very violent, lots of nudity, mainly women, who are prostitutes or princess's,and im afraid,i found it very predictable. its always a shame when everyone raves about something, and you just don't get it!!

perhaps its not aimed at me,more adolescent boys!having said that,my friend is my age..hum..its me!!

I have read the books, and enjoyed them. I don't mind the violence and the predicable sexist nudity image Watched season 1 when it was on the TV and enjoyed it.
