diesel spill
in Talkback
hello I was wondering if anyone could help please, their has been a diesel spill at work from an overflowing fuel tank, I am getting the blame but I have not been their for 2 months and I followed correct procedures for fuel tank filling
how long does it take for diesel to kill the grass the spill was only discovered this week with dead grass around the spill
personnel have been on site after me and nothing was seen by them I am trying to work out roughly when the leak started

Diesel will kill grass or growing plants very quickly less than a week in my experience, so if you haven't been there for 2 months it's not down to you. Diesel, like any oily substance coats the leaves of plants and grass which starve the living tissue of oxygen, death comes quickly. Someone is pointing the finger in the wrong direction.
Does this mean that I can kill all weeds on the drive by emptying my diesel tank onto it
thankyou so much for you replies
