  • The gardeners boy is correct, spring forward in Spring fall back in the Fall. That means one our less sleep On the day. But rest assured it is for one night only.

it rather reminds me of my working life when one of my staff said he hated Monday's, I said ok fine, take Monday off and start Tuesday if it makes you feel better.

The complaint was never raised again.

I hate, hate, hate when my birthday falls on clock changing day image My brothers birthday falls at the end of October so there have been occasions when he has "stolen" my hour image

My birthday is 22nd July.  That was really annoying as it was always just before we broke up for the summer holidays (a loooooong time ago).  And although occasionally the 22nd was a Friday I was away at school during the week with a long coach journey home that day every week and I didn't travel well to add to my travail

October is the longest month in the year, by one hour. Clocks go forward in March and we get an extra hour in the garden next week.
