calendula

Morning Guysimage I'm growing these as well as taggetes  to grow around the beds and greenhouse to deter??? Aphids .They are still indoors and about 5" tall should I pinch out the tops or just move them into the cold greenhouse as they are? Hoping to use the leaves in salads any tipsimage

    I've never pinched them out, but if they're getting a bit leggy, I can't see it doing any harm.

  • Yes Hosta I thought that and the leaves are quite soft or is that the nature of the plant they look very much like the lettuce good job I put labels in (completely out of characterimage) I might do half and half.???

    As you can see I'm getting a bit full up on the potting table and am hoping to sort out a few today.image

    No need to pinch out those calendula - they look fine to me - put them in the cold greenhouse image


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
