Fuschia problem

I have noticed that my plants are not showing any signs of new growth. Is it possible that I have lost them during the winter? Should I wait a few more weeks before deciding wether to remove them and buy new? They are hardy and I have had excellent growth from them for 5 years.

Mine are still as dead as the proverbial Dodo.  Don't abandon them yet.

None of my fuchsias are showing any signs of life though the clematis are sending out strong shoots.  The fuchsias are long established though and always flower profusely so I'm definitely not removing them

I have overwintered trailing fuchsias in baskets and troughs in my unheated greenhouse.  I started watering them sparingly 10 days ago and now have teeny weeny shoots on the ones in the big trough but no sign of anything yet on the ones in baskets.

I don't expect them to be in full growth before the end of April so plenty of time yet.

My fushia is starting to show life (which is surprising as im in the land of little sun - Inverness) I'm sure it will come to life... as I've yet to kill mine, had cut it right down to ground and it returns year after year, this is the first year that i haven't cut it down to the ground.

  • My fuchsia suffered a brutal uprooting when I moved house, I was convinced that it wouldn't make it, after a bit of a tidy up today I noticed that it has started shooting.

as others have said, don't give up on it yet.

I had 12 different trailing varieties in various pots and baskets and some are still green wood and showing signs of growth . I thought they may have been annuals really
