Is my garlic doing ok?

At the moment i am watering them at night if the soilfeels dry.

Do they need fed anything? some on the tips have a bit of browning is this them being scolded by the sun? will this effect them n' will they recover?

Thanks once again image

They look fine Lucy, the tips on garlic do go brown, it is normal I think. You can feed them but put it around and between the bulbs, not on the bulbs themselves. image

Very pleased with my first attempt at growing garlic, solent wight planted in the allotment last October growing well and some shop bought garlic apparently a product of china which were started off in pots undercover and then transplanted into the allotment in February are now growing very strongly.

Barry I'm glad to hear your garlic is doing well, mine is just shop bought ones image

Problem with shop bought garlic it is likely from abroad and is probably not suited to our climate.  Tried it myself and the results just don't compare  with that bought from seed retailers.
