Morning guys
can anyone tell me is what himself calls a Mattock(spelling??) The same as the chillington or are they entirely different? I read in a previous thread about a tool that is easy to use but they purchased when on holiday abroad. I do have a little problem when digging(gardeners back, medical term
) but do not want to give way to help and if this would do the job of fork&spade it would be marvellous

yeah, there's another name beginning with a, can't recall at the moment
AZADA
Thanks Hostafan they have a Mattock in B&Q it looks quite heavy but perhaps it's all in the swing
There's a video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msTl0S0sPLM of someone using an Azada - it may help you decide whether it's suitable for you
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks Dove I'll have a look at that
Thanks Ceres I did think it was too good to be true that I could get one that easy
What a great set of videos
I particularly like the bike hoe (homemade??that will keep him busy) The heavy Azada might be too much for me but I like the look of the lighter weight one.
