Old bought compost

Good morning,  I have had a bag of compost from Homebase sat, unopened, in the garden since last August (approx.).  Will it still be ok to use, or should I dispose and replace it, and how?

Thanks

They reckon it only last about 6 months but I would have thought that meant if you had opened it.  I would think it would be OK, but I'm no expert.

    I'd use it image

And if the nutrients have been leached out, you just need to add some image

I'm sure we've all used compost " left over from last year". I know I have ,and never had any problems.

just use as a soil structure improver, add a little rock dust and you're good to go!!!
