I've been given these 2 plants but don't know what they are.

    I think the top one could be a Euphorbia but not sure which variety.  The bottom one could be a number of things.  Maybe a hardy geranium or a aquilegia.  I am sure someone with a lot more knowledge than me will come along and give you a definite answer.

    The second one is an Aquilegia.

    Euphorbia myrsinites I think.

    Yes the second one is aquilegia it self seeds really easily, I have pink and purple ones all over the place even in gaps in the paving.

    Thanks peeps, there are alot aquilegia varieties. Suppose i'll have to wait for then to flower.
