Planting potted beech hedging

Suz2Suz2 Posts: 3

The potted beech hedges that I have purchased have 4 plants to a pot. Should the  plants be split up first or is it ok to plant the whole pot with the 4 plants in each, for a thicker hedge. Thanks for any advice.

I would say separately- around a foot or so apart.

To plant close together might seem seem a good idea-but they need room to establish.

Thanks for your advice - I thought that may have been the case.
