HUBBY HAS THE USUAL RED HOT POKERS.  DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ONE THAT IS DIFFERENT AND IF SO WHERE CAN I GET IT FOR HIM PLEASE.

    There are a whole load of different colour ones, but I'd have to google them to find out where to get them. Look for Kniphofia

    kniphofia northiae is a rare evergreen and large red hot poker. eBay should be a source.

    Just look in your garden centre and I'm sure some of them will have different varieties .

    My local garden centre does a dwarf one, it is called Little Maid and it is cream. I've also seen larger ones which are yellow.

    remember the rarer it is the pricier it is likely to be.

    Cotswald Garden Flowers have some good ones, also gives a hardiness rating, which is useful, as some of them are not quite as winter hardy as the bog standard orange ones. I have Mango Popsicle which is nice, in spite of its name!
