  • Thank you very much for everyone that has replied, much appreciated!

I will try to keep them protected for a bit longer and have decided that it is time to invest in a new small greenhouse! a lean-to one. I have had my eyes on one on Greenfingers for a while now. I have considered cold frames, but it will need to be a massive one to help my overpopulated plants problem.

  • Hi Winniecat, there are so many...  I have got echinops, helenium, penstemon cuttings, Verbena B, scabiosa, companula, eryngium, Echinacea, monarda, agastache, thalictrum delavayi, sanguisorba, gaura, potentilla, knautia, sweet peas...

Inside the house, I have got all sorts which I sowed in Feb. Most of them have come through and are ready to be picked out. I keep putting that off as I will have no room for them and I don't like throwing away seedlings! And I still have about 40 different things to sow in April!! I really should have thought it through!

  • Hi Verdun, I will try my best to keep the potting on process going but will really struggle for room. Maybe it is time to invest in cloche. Here is a silly question: if I plant them in the ground with cloche protection, can I then dig them up to relocate them when weather warms up? Thanksimage
