  • Sounds wonderful and just the thing. I think i've made up my mind. Maybe I'll introduce some hornbeam too.

     

    Does anyone know the growth rate for crab apple and hornbeam?

    Depends how often you water them! In SW France it can get very dry in summer and, especially the crab apples, will need a good soak every week. I have both, but they were planted over 20 years ago so I can't remember.

  • Only time will tell, Like most things. And yeah, it does get very dry, but very wet in winter.
